I began collecting the EAST END GARAGES several years ago when I saw these little gems being razed and replaced by modern characterless cookie cutter buildings. Often built under the radar of City Hall permits, and left to the less formal concerns of frontyard etiquette, these back yard structures tell an un-self-conscious story of domestic usage and time.
