THIN SKIN/THICK SKIN is a group of abstract non-objective drawings which explore ideas of opacity, translucency and transparency.
As I worked on these pieces the narrative connecting work to life framed them as "vulnerability" (transparency) and "protection" (opacity).

Many of the images use a loosely diptych composition to reinforce formal and narrative meaning.
