JOURNEY consists of ten free standing walls arranged in five facing pairs producing a guided 30 foot long "promenade". The sound component was produced in collaboration with Bruce Davis at Simon Fraser University and was a discretely quiet audial element, placed 1/2 way down the piece.

The walls were constructed of lath and plaster, 4'x4' fir, tile, plaster cloth, oil and acrylic paint, one hair cut and other mixed materials. The inside, through which one initially walks, functioned as the outer, or finished, surface of the work. The back, or outside, of the installation was the structural (usually inner) component.

Two of the walls were also presented at the Vancouver Art Gallery in a group show entitled "From This Point Of View".
