LISTENING TO THE INNER EAR: THE CONVERSATIONS depicts an inner ear on the right half and a scenario, object or abstract image on the left half of each drawing, with approximately 100 drawings to date. The two images are set in egg/face shapes to reinforce the idea of a conversation.
These images are the result of actual conversations, with myself in the form of dreams and ideas as well as actua conversations with others (conversations, reading material, the radio etc.)
As I worked, certain subcategories emerged: science, nature and ecology, poetics and language, the body, listening, politics and world concerns, art, illusion and perspective as well as other subject matter which it is hard to categorize...
